Catch the Age Wave - Now!

The field of aging is expected to be one of the fastest growing opportunities for career and job growth due to the demographic transitions in the western US and across the nation. The world's 65-and-older population is projected to triple by midcentury, from 516 million in 2009 to 1.53 billion in 2050, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. In the United States, the population 65 and older will more than double by 2050, rising from 39 million today to 89 million. Utah is experiencing some of the fastest growth (% increase) in 65 and older population in the US (ranked 3rd) and 60 and older population (ranked 5th) 2007-2008.
