Background
Peggy Rosati Allen is a Clinical Instructor with the University of Utah graduate Nurse-Midwifery and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner programs. Peggy began her nursing career in 1980 after graduating with a baccalaureate degree in nursing from the University of Wyoming. In 1986 she graduated with a master's degree and certification as a women's health nurse practitioner from the University of California, San Francisco. Peggy worked for many years as a women's health nurse practitioner in the San Francisco Bay Area and then in Salt Lake City after moving to Utah with her family in 1990. She obtained a post-masters certificate in nurse-midwifery in 1997 from the University of Utah and has since worked as a certified nurse-midwife in Utah County and most recently for BirthCare HealthCare with the University of Utah College of Nursing.
