About the Specialty PhD Distance Program
Two cohorts of PhD students will have the opportunity to enroll in the University of Utah Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence in the next three years. The first cohort will begin in Spring semester 2009, the second in Summer semester 2010. This program of study is offered through the University of Utah's proven distance learning PhD program. The genius of the program is its use of cutting-edge technology to deliver courses in a live format over the internet. In a virtual classroom, real time instruction takes place and communication is instantaneous.
