Nursing Education Graduate Certificate Overview
Health care is changing at a rapid pace and nurse educators are there every step of the way to support life-long learning for nursing students, practicing nurses and the interprofessional team.
The Nursing Education post graduate certificate is for students who hold a graduate degree in nursing, or who are currently enrolled in a graduate nursing program. A post graduate certificate in Nursing Education will prepare students to teach nursing students in a variety of settings. For students who already hold a graduate degree, the certificate program is an ideal pathway to prepare to gain the skills and knowledge to become a nurse educator.
If pursuing the Nursing Education Post Graduate Certificate concurrent with a graduate degree in the University of Utah College of Nursing, the Nursing Education Post Graduate Certificate will be issued when the student has completed and graduated from the concurrent graduate program.
