Welcome From the Assistant Dean of MS/DNP Programs

Pamela K. Hardin, Assistant Dean of MS/DNP ProgramsI would like to extend a warm welcome to incoming and current Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate students.

Graduate school is both exciting and challenging and I anticipate that your plans of study will stretch you both professionally and personally. Some of the enriching opportunities to look forward to will be working with faculty mentors, cross-disciplinary learning, and guided experiences with master educators and clinicians.  I encourage you to look for additional opportunities for leadership and engagement, for example, consider volunteering to sit on a College of Nursing committee.

Whether you are local or learning from a distance, there are numerous opportunities for involvement in the College and at the University of Utah.
