Notes:
1 Must be taken prior to quantitative research design courses
(NURS 7002, NURS 7040).
2 Must be taken prior to all research design courses.
3 These Area of Specialization and Statistics/Methods elective courses do not have to be taken prior to NURS 7777 (Synthesis). However, all core courses (NURS 7101, 7102, 7010, 7009, 7201, 7001, 7202, 7002, 7040) must be taken prior to NURS 7777 (Synthesis).
4 Students may register for 1-6 credits of NURS 7100 Research Practicum.
A minimum of 4 credit hours are required for graduation.
5 Students must register for N7970 Doctoral Dissertation for a minimum of 14
credits during their doctoral program. Time to complete dissertation varies, but averages two years of full time study.
Each student must identify an Area of Specialization and Methodology elective.
The program of study as listed is a sample plan reflecting minimum requirements. The student's supervisory committee determines the final program of study. Additional credits beyond the minimum shown may be required.
