Eaton receives $3,380 from State Division of Arts

Dr. Jacquelyn Eaton was awarded $3,380 by EngAGE Utah and the Utah Division of Arts & Museums for her project titled, Creative Aging in Utah: Implementation. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the implementation of creative aging pilot programs led by professional teaching artists in multipurpose senior centers.
Eaton and her team will describe the process of implementation and identify the outcomes in older adults participating on their cognitive abilities, social isolation, emotional distress-depression, and satisfaction with participation in discretionary social activities.
