Guest SeatingGuest seating at Kingsbury Hall is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The College of Nursing does not issue tickets. Guests should be seated by 2:45 PM. The academic processional will begin promptly at 2:55 PM. Guests are asked to avoid the lobby and the entrance to the auditorium during the processional and convocation ceremony. Seating will be taped off for graduation candidates and convocation staff. Guests are not allowed to sit in the taped off areas.
Students or guests with disabilities (including individuals in wheelchairs and those who have limited mobility) attending convocation can request special accommodations by filling out a simple form found here. The College requests that guests give reasonable prior notice (final deadline May 2, 2017). We ask that guests arrive early and use the handicapped entrance located on the East side of Kingsbury Hall. Please note that requests made the day of convocation cannot be accommodated; prior notice must be given.
A professional photographer, Gammell Photography, has been authorized to photograph all graduation candidates. A representative from Gammell Photography will contact graduates after the ceremony with information on how to purchase the photographs.
NOTE: The front row of seats in the middle section of the auditorium is reserved for guests who wish to take pictures and immediately return to their seats. The front row may be accessed on the West side of the auditorium.
Parking is available at Rice-Eccles Stadium where a campus shuttle runs every 10 minutes to Kingsbury Hall.
