Mollie Cummins was an invited speaker at the University of Florida’s Rita Kobb Nursing Informatics Symposium in Gainesville on February 14th. The title of her presentation was “Making Data Move and Matter for Poisoning through Health Information Exchange.”
Barbara Wilson and PhD student / adjunct faculty Scott Christensen presented a podium and poster at Sigma Theta Tau International Symposium Creating Healthy Work Environments 2019, held February 23 and 24th in Louisiana. The title of their presentation was:

DNP Student Elizabeth Sarah Hanna also presented a poster at the same conference. Her poster was entitled “Development of a mindfulness-based stress reduction tool for reducing burnout and increasing resiliency among nurses.”
Lauren Clark has just been elected to the Western Institute of Nursing (WIN) Board of Governors. This is a three year term that begins following the conclusion of the 2019 WIN Conference in April.
Sara Hart has just been selected as the 2019-2020 Public Service Professor for the University of Utah. She will be recognized at the President’s Reception for Community Engagement (coming in April); at University Commencement on May 2nd; and at the College of Nursing Convocation May 3rd.
