May Farr, Class of '52, Recognized for a Lifetime of Dedication to Those With Mental Disorders

May Farr, a graduate of the College of Nursing in 1952, will receive an honorary doctorate at Commencement May 2. Along with her husband Jim, Farr launched two successful medical device companies and changed healthcare. But privately, as her son struggled with catatonic schizophrenia, she worked tirelessly behind the scenes to advocate for mental health services and support systems. Read her story here....
