As previously announced, Mollie Cummins has been appointed as one of six Jon M. Huntsman Presidential Chairs for the University of Utah. The press release came out this morning:
Lisa Taylor-Swanson received the Society for Acupuncture Research’s Outstanding Researcher Award in Clinical Research and cash prize for the presentation titled: Intersections of Practice, Research and Policy: Update on the Washington State Labor & Industries Policy (podium presentation) Burlington, VT, USA. This project translated scientific evidence on acupuncture for low back pain and resulted in policy change at WA State Labor & Industries (L&I). Acupuncturists are now the first profession to be added to the WA L&I paid providers list in 20 years, effective June 1st, 2019.
