Adjunct faculty and PhD student Scott Christensen; and PhD student Ryoko Pentecost, were selected to represent the College of Nursing as “Rising Stars” at Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI’s) 2019 International Nursing Research Congress (INRC) in Canada.
Ryoko emailed the following about her experience: “Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to attend the INRC 2019. The sessions have been very informative and relate to my dissertation topic and methodology. I also connected with nursing scientists and had discussions of how we could improve science in perinatal mental health. At my poster session, I had so many questions and comments about my study . . . it helped my elevator speech! This conference also connected me researchers from all over the world. I can keep going on and on talking about my wonderful experiences . . . “
Congratulations to Scott and Ryoko!
