Jenny Alderden was the featured faculty research presenter at last week’s Research Leadership Luncheon held in the Sorensen Arts and Education Complex. Jenny’s primary research focus is on preventing complications, specifically pressure injuries, among hospitalized older adults. This stems from Jenny’s extensive experience as a critical-care nurse, including her time during the Iraq War troop surge of 2007 as a helicopter nurse and shock-trauma platoon member in Al Anbar, Iraq.
