At the recent American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Conference November 16-20, the poster by Informatics student Christina Radloff and faculty members Jia-Wen Guo and Kathy Sward received the Distinguished Poster Award. The title of their poster was “Evaluating EHR Data Availability for Cancer Pain Research.”
Jenny Alderden was elected to a two-year term as the Early Career Director on the Board of Directors of the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE). In this role, she will work with other members of the Board of Directors to facilitate strategic planning and formulate policy for the NHCGNE, among other activities. Her election to this position acknowledges her expertise and commitment to the NHCGNE.

Jessica Ellis and Christina Elmore will be presenting at the American College of Nurse Midwives Annual meeting in May 2020. The title of their presentation is “Manual Rotation of the Persistent Posterior Fetus”.
