Congratulations to the midwives and faculty in our Women’s Health NP specialty track and our CNM track. We just received word from U. S. News and World Report that our Midwifery Program has once again earned eligibility to display a U.S. News Trademarked 2021 Best Graduate Schools award Badge on our website in in our promotions. Three cheers!

Dr. Lisa Taylor-Swanson has been accepted as 1 of 20 Fellows for a prestigious international Fellowship. She will be a part of the second cohort: The Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM) Complementary and Integrative Medicine(CIM) Research Leadership and Capacity Building Program provides essential mentoring/career development and research capacity building around CIM. The ultimate goal of the Program is to identify, nurture and support future CIM researchers to help develop and lead a sustainable CIM research culture able to produce the evidence needs of patients, practitioners and policymakers. The first cohort of Fellows have now experienced over 5 years of Program residentials, support, mentoring and career development and has produced over 180 peer-reviewed publications, one Journal Special Issue, 7 new journal Editorship positions and 9 academic promotions (e.g. 6 Fellows are now Associate Professor).
Dr. Jennifer Clifton was accepted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP). The Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners impacts national and global health by engaging recognized nurse practitioner (NP) leaders who make outstanding contributions to clinical practice, research, education, or policy to enhance the AANP mission. Jenn will work and collaborate with NP leaders around the country in this program. Congratulations, Jen!
