Welcome From the Assistant Dean of PhD Programs

I would like to extend a warm welcome to incoming students and other students who are considering our well known and respected PhD program.

Graduate school is both exciting and challenging and I anticipate that obtaining your PhD will stretch you both professionally and personally. Some of the enriching opportunities to look forward to will be working with faculty mentors, cross-disciplinary learning, on ground intensives and conference based learning. I encourage you to look for additional opportunities for leadership and engagement, for example, consider volunteering to sit on a College of Nursing committee.

Imagine U! Whether you are local or learning from a distance, there are numerous opportunities for involvement in the College and at the University of Utah.
