Grief and the Holidays

Grief and the Holidays is an opportunity for individuals to come together and cope with the loss of a family member or friend while keeping the memory of the loved one alive during the difficult holiday season. Grief and the Holidays is free and open to the public and generally held during the fall every year.

Caring Connections will host our annual Grief and the Holidays event online via Zoom on November 9, 2021 from 7 to 9 pm. This year's theme is "Making Peace with Grief."

Our program will have two featured speakers this year. Josh Hansen is a retired US Army veteran and co-founder of ContinueMission, which serves veterans through recreation and fellowship. We will also hear from Jennie Taylor, who is the Gold Star widow of Major Brent Taylor. Brent Taylor served as Mayor of North Ogden before he returned to active duty. Musical accompaniment to be provided.

This event is free and open to the public.
