Information Session Overview

For all students preparing to apply to any of our nursing programs, we encourage you to attend a virtual Zoom information session before applying. This is the best way to receive foundational information needed to understand the requirements for our programs, what the application process looks like, and how you can prepare! To join an undergraduate or graduate information session, view our upcoming dates below.

We don't want prospective students to miss valuable information, so we ask that individuals who are five or more minutes late to an information session join an upcoming session instead. In order to best serve as many students as we can, meeting dates/times are subject to change.

After attending an information session, we encourage you to meet with one of our academic advisors to discuss specific questions. These appointments are 20 minutes, which is why it's ideal to have attended an information session first. Click HERE to schedule an academic advising appointment.

NEAP Info Sessions

NEAP Application opens November 1! Be prepared by attending a virtual information session. For recent high school graduates or college freshman with less than 30 credit hours preparing to apply to our NEAP program, we encourage you to attend a virtual Zoom information session before applying. This is the best way to receive foundational information needed to understand the requirements for our program, what the application process looks like, and how you can prepare! MS, DNP, and PhD Programs

Graduate Info Sessions

We will begin at 5:30 PM with an overview of the admission process and application requirements. Prospective students will then have the opportunity to learn about the MS and DNP specialty tracks and the PhD program by attending a 30-minute breakout session with College of Nursing faculty and current students. This will be the last information session of the 2023 admissions cycle. Times listed are Mountain Standard Time.

Complete applications for the DNP and PhD programs are due by 11:59 MST on December 1, 2022. Applications for the MS in Nursing and MS in Gerontology programs are due by 11:59 MST on February 1, 2023.
