Facilitating Mental Health

Faculty Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (PMHNP) provide expert patient care in a variety of clinics across Utah. Our PMHNPs work in both community and private settings and care for patients of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Faculty Practice PMHNPs provide psychiatric diagnostic assessment, medication management, group and individual psychotherapy, substance use treatment.

Sheila Deyette

South Jordan Health Center

Dr. Sheila Deyette, PhD, APRN, PMHCNS‑BC, is an Associate Clinical Professor and Specialty Track Director for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner DNP program at the University of Utah College of Nursing. She is deeply committed to advancing psychotherapy as a core clinical skill for PMHNPs and brings extensive expertise in psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and person-centered modalities . Dr. Deyette practices one day per week at the University of Utah South Jordan Health Center, where she provides outpatient behavioral health services that include both medication management and psychotherapy. Since joining the faculty in 2013 and becoming Specialty Track Director in 2019, she has combined her rich clinical background with educational leadership to mentor students and support the growing PMHNP program.

Liz Greene

Behavioral Health Innovation and Dissemination Center

Dr. Liz Greene, DNP, APRN, PMHNP‑BC, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in both the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Doctoral and undergraduate nursing programs at the University of Utah College of Nursing. She is deeply passionate about psychotherapy clinical education and dedicates one day each week to the University of Utah’s Behavioral Health Innovation and Dissemination Center (BHIDC), where she collaborates in an interdisciplinary team alongside clinical psychologists, psychiatry residents, and nursing students. With over a decade of experience in psychiatric nursing, Dr. Greene has provided care in diverse settings—including adolescent residential treatment, outpatient clinics, women’s mental health, and community mental health centers—and currently oversees medication management at BHIDC.

Zoe Robbins

Four Corners and A/D Psychotherapy

Dr. Zoë Robbins, DNP, PMH‑NP, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of Utah’s Doctoral Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, where she specializes in teaching psychopharmacology practicum, introduction to the nurse practitioner role, and clinical diagnostic reasoning. She serves one clinical day per week at Four Corners Community Behavioral Health—providing mental health services to the communities of Carbon, Emery, and Grand Counties—and an additional day at A/D Psychotherapy, where she is the medical director of the Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program. Dr Robbins is the behavioral health faculty practice director for the Practice and Community Collaboration team within the College of Nursing and enjoys a special role as clinical placement coordinator for the PMH-NP students. 

John Sensiba

South Jordan Health Center

Dr. Sensiba, PMH-NP Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in practice full time at the University of Utah South Jordan Health Center specializes in medication management and brief supportive psychotherapy for patients aged 14 and older, addressing a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Dr Sensiba is well known Known for his thorough assessments and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest clinical evidence, Dr. Sensiba takes a comprehensive approach to patient care. His critical care nursing background allows him to identify medical conditions that may contribute to or exacerbate mental health concerns, ensuring a holistic treatment plan.

Sara Webb

Sugarhouse Health Center

Dr. Sara Webb, DNP, APRN, PMHNP‑BC, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of Utah College of Nursing’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑DNP) program and serves as the primary instructor for advanced psychopharmacology. She also leads practicum courses, Mental Health Assessment and Diagnosis, and oversees DNP scholarly projects alongside her academic duties. Clinically, Dr. Webb devotes one day each week to serving peripartum women at the U of U Sugar House Clinic—working in tandem with DNP students—to address pregnancy-related mood, anxiety, grief, and trauma through medication management and brief, targeted therapy. A certified perinatal mental health provider, she is deeply committed to improving outcomes in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including spearheading initiatives like routine postpartum PTSD screening.
