Caregiving support for families in Utah
Provides access to resources and services, counseling, caregiver and dementia education, support groups, respite care, and assistive supplies.
A short-term respite and education program that provides assistance and support to those providing care to family and others.
Caregiver compensation is an ongoing service for people in services with DSPD. It allows parents, step-parents, legal guardians, and spouses who serve as caregivers for a qualifying family member with disabilities to be paid for providing extraordinary care. It may not be applied for separately from other services. The new, ongoing program will start July 1, 2024.
National Alliance on Mental Illness- Utah
NAMI Utah offers free support groups and education for those impacted by mental health conditions throughout Utah and their family members or loved ones.
