Explore Your Path in the College

At the College of Nursing, we offer four distinct paths to earn your bachelor’s degree in nursing:

Each is designed to support diverse learners on their journey to become skilled, compassionate nursing professionals.

The College of Nursing offers three Master of Science specialties:

These fully online programs prepare nurses to lead, educate, innovate, and advocate in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

The College of Nursing offers nine Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specialty tracks, including options:

These advanced programs equip nurses with the clinical expertise and leadership skills to drive meaningful change in healthcare.

The College of Nursing offers two PhD tracks:

    • The distance PhD nursing program admits students who have earned a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing (BSN, BS) or a master's degree in nursing or related disciplines
    • The traditional BS-PhD and MS-PhD tracks share a common program of study with the exception of nine additional MS cognate credits required for BS-PhD students

The College of Nursing offers four Dual DNP-PhD tracks:

    • Adult/Gerontology Primary Care DNP/PhD
    • Family DNP/PhD
    • Nurse Midwifery DNP/PhD
    • Women's Health DNP/PhD

These programs prepare nurse scholars to lead in both clinical practice and research, bridging the gap between science and care.

The College of Nursing also offers a Minor and an Undergraduate Certificate in Gerontology, giving students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of aging and enhance their preparation for working with older adult populations.

Level up your education and career. The College of Nursing offers both undergraduate and graduate certificates:
