In the April 2014 edition of the Journal of Transcultural Nursing, an article by Dr. Lauren Clark titled “A Humanizing Gaze for Transcultural Nursing Research Will Tell the Story of Health Disparities” is featured. The article reviews the innovative ways to look at health disparities across diverse cultures, without dehumanizing the patient. In addition, a podcast discussion with Dr. Clark and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Transcultural Nursing Dr. Norma Cueller is also available. Both the article and the podcast will be featured in the forthcoming ebook, Research with Diverse Populations.
