CCNE Accreditation Visit
The University of Utah College of Nursing will host an accreditation visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from March 4-6, 2026. This visit aims to seek ongoing CCNE accreditation for the College's Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post-graduate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certificate programs.
As part of the accreditation process, CCNE invites constituents and other interested parties to submit third-party comments related to our programs' qualifications for accreditation. Constituents include, but are not limited to, faculty teaching in and students enrolled in the programs under review, alumni of the programs, and other interested parties.
In accordance with CCNE requirements, all third-party comments must be:
Written in English, consistent with CCNE's policy on Conduct of Business in English.
Submitted to CCNE by February 11, 2026, which is 21 days before the scheduled visit.

Midwifery Program ACME Review & Third Party Comments Requested
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Nurse-Midwifery Program at the University of Utah College of Nursing is scheduled for a re-accreditation review by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) Board of Review on April 8-10, 2026.
Program constituents, stakeholders, clinical partners, alumni, and other interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments relevant to the program’s qualifications for re-accreditation. All comments must reference the ACME Criteria for Programmatic Accreditation (published May 2019, Rev. April 2025).
